Tuesday 30th January, OK so I know it isn’t the weekend, but we have been very active during the week don’t you know!!!
Tried to organize a trip with a few colleagues to Ski Dubai, had a couple of takers but they dropped out within the last half hour of the day, so……..CJD and I decided we were going to go anyway!
Only took about 15mins through the rush hour traffic to reach Mall of the Emirates and within one hour of finishing work, we were ready for a bit of now bashing!
I had been a week or so before, BUT well needed the practice, and CJD got back into it as if she had never had a break from it….
After about ½ hour we were going from the top of the run to the base with relative ease. Practicing those turns and even getting the confidence to try new things……perfecting the parallel turns…..we LOVE IT!
Not a bad 2 hour sesh, for around 20quid, NO WIPEOUTS!!!! Finishing the 2hours completely dry we dined at the St Moritz café, hahahahahaha complete with fake fire projected on to screens in a pretend fire hearth!!! HAHAHAHA I swear when you looked at it your face felt warm (ALL IN THE MIND!)
Totally shattered we got back to the flat around 10:30. What a great evening!!!!!!
